Internal Travel Request Form for Unisure Group
We created a clean, logic-driven internal travel request form for Unisure Group that streamlines approvals between line managers and finance, making the process faster, clearer, and entirely paperless.

Unisure Group needed a digital travel requisition form for employees traveling for business purposes. The goal was to create an intuitive, internal-facing form that enabled staff to request travel support, ensured proper approvals, and eliminated unnecessary admin back-and-forth.

The Challenge
The existing travel request process was manual and inconsistent, leading to delays and confusion in approvals. It required multiple layers of internal communication, from employees to their line managers, and then to finance, and lacked a structured system to support this workflow.
Key challenges included:
- Automating the approval flow between line managers and the finance team
- Simplifying the form interface for varying types of travel scenarios
- Reducing irrelevant inputs by showing only applicable fields
- Keeping the form secure, accessible, and easy to manage
Our Approach
To streamline the process, we:
Built the form using WPForms with advanced logic conditions to dynamically adjust the form based on user selections
Used conditional routing to automate internal approvals, first sending submissions to the applicant’s line manager, and then to the finance team upon approval
Applied custom CSS to style the form with a clean, modern, and interactive UI
Embedded the form securely on the internal website for easy access by all staff
This approach reduced clutter, eliminated paper-based requests, and made the form more usable for various travel purposes without overwhelming the user.
